Reason to Live Native & Montana Social Scientists, LLC have decided to partner in hosting a three day continuing education training focused on research and initiatives happening across the state at the Kwa Taq Nuk resort on May 9-11th.

Montana Social Scientists, LLC (MSS) is a new company owned by Vanessa McNeill, MS, providing Continuing Education credits in Behavioral Health (BBH) and Office of Public Instruction (OPI).
Brandon Burke is the Program Manager for the Reason to Live Native suicide prevention program for the Confederated Salish & Kootenai Tribe reservation. A big part of Brandon’s efforts is to build sustaining collaborations with like-minded efforts across the state. Brandon is focused on building capacity within his own community to ensure that people at risk do not slip through the cracks, leading to self-harm. That is why RTLN has decided to partner with MSS. RTLN believes this unique collaboration will ensure that professionals in the area (mental health workers, educational workers, social workers, professors, and others in relative positions) are well trained and informed on prevention strategies.
MSS is focused on providing support to counselors and educators working hard with limited resources, providing visibility to the many initiatives underway with the hope that all of Montanans see the state-wide epidemic we are currently experiencing, and finally providing continuing education units. MSS also offers research consultations and analysis.
COUNSELORS & EDUCATORS: RTLN & MSS invite you to come enjoy a respite in this gorgeous location while receiving your annual continuing education credits for both BBH and OPI.
